Good morning. In
less than an hour more or less nine, ten, eleven, or twelve hours, aircraft viewers from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind; that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests [and driving need to see Grant Ward get shot again and again]. Perhaps it’s fate that . . . [once again] you will be fighting for our freedom. Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution [they’ve made a tiny little indie film about that one—hardly anyone’s heard about it, called “Polite Conflict” or something], but from annihilation [election coverage break-ins]. We’re fighting for our right to live, to exist. And should we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice: confident in our Season 4 renewal, we will turn our eyes to Agent Carter and declare: ‘We will not go quietly into the night!’ ‘We will not vanish without a fight!’ ‘We’re going to live on!’ ‘We’re going to survive!’ Today we celebrate our Independence Day the season finale! It’s time for Emancipation!”
Yes, I’m hyped. Saw Civil War last night, and it completely reaffirmed my belief that while I love the supers, we get more satisfying impacts from AoS.
