There might have been a bunch of publicity for Lucasfilm Animation's upcoming Star Wars Rebels lately, but let's not forget - The Clone Wars is returning on Netflix for one last bow soon, and here's our first proper look at The Lost Missions.
Although it sucks we're not going to see the fate of Ahsoka and some other important plot threads established in the fifth season of the show, there definitely looks like some interesting arcs coming up in these new episodes - Yoda visiting the homeworld of the Sith, Count Dooku trying to cover up the existence (and seemingly early activation of) Order 66, and the return of the Witches of Dathomir among them. And it seems like, at least from a visual standpoint, the show is only going to continue improving its style and technical ability, something that's definitely become apparent to me as I've returned to it on Blu-Ray recently. If Rebels can end up looking like even a fraction of the quality Clone Wars did in its latter seasons, we're in for some treats.
Clone Wars: The Lost Missions will be available for streaming exclusively on Netflix next week, alongside Seasons 1-5 for the first time on the service, from March 7th.
