The armor, the visuals, the love story/rebirth angle... Well, it isn't Bram Stoker's Dracula - which is my favorite Dracula movie ever, but it's - OK. Really, really cheesy dialogs at times and some less than complex characters....Some decent action and effects.... Spoiler...

It does have Charles Dance, though.......

As an excellent villain (are we surprised?) and he lives! to see the modern day and the sequel/universe building bait. Considering DU is supposed to be step one of phase one of Universal's monster universe, I really, really want Charles Dance to be the Loki of that world! (Against Frankenstein even, maybe :) )
