This deal went live about half an hour ago and last until 3 PM CST.

You can visit this page here to get to buying if you’re so inclined.

This is for the current Moto G only, which means this is the 3G version of the phone.

I’m not at all sure if this is a U.S. only deal or not, so I recommend you check for yourselves if you’re inclined to partake in this deal. Assuming you can that is.

For what it’s worth here are the bands/frequencies supported by the phone.

US GSM model:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ (850, 1700 (AWS), 1900 MHz)

Global GSM model:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)

Please note that HSPA+ means this phone is not LTE compatible. It does, however, mean this phone isn’t just a 3G network ready device. It will get HSPA+, which is actually reasonably quick (assuming you’ve never used LTE that is).

This really is a good deal. The Moto 360 alone retails for $250. (It seems that $170 price point that we’ve seen the past few weeks sporadically here and there was a temporary discount.) So one way to think of this is you’re buying a Moto 360 and for $50 more you get a very nice phone.

Please, oh please, do not think I am forcing anyone to buy this. I hate people who get upset when I share posts like these and think I’m putting a gun to their head (figuratively, although you’d think I was doing it literally based on some comments I’ve dismissed in the past) and trying to make them buy something they may not want. If this deal isn’t for you by all means feel free to pass on it and do me a favor by not even bothering to comment if you’re just gonna go off the rails.

If you have questions about the deal or devices included in it I’ll be more than happy to answer them to the best of my abilities though. (I have a Moto 360 and I’ve used the original Moto G and Moto G with LTE. I’ve yet to use the new one, but at this price point I am very tempted to place an order right now. Hooray for Motorola Credit!)
