So this one came out of nowhere and now I just don’t know what phone to get anymore thanks to this.

The Nexus 6 is currently on sale via Amazon and for $349.99 you can get the 32 GB version and $399.99 gets you the 64 GB model. Worth pointing out that the carrier specific versions of the phone are not discounted.

I am only just now realizing I did not do a review of this phone despite having gotten some serious hands on time with one I don’t know how long back over a weekend. It’s a lovely device and while the screen size might put some people off it’s not as big as you think it might be. I was able to use it with one hand easily enough and pocketing it was no problem either. Although I did have to remove the extremely bulky case my friend got for it to do that. Of course bulky cases in general will cause pocket issues for people who don’t like carrying their devices in their hands or bags or whatnot.

Being a Nexus and an unlocked one at that there are a few worth knowing. First off you can throw any SIM Card from either T-Mobile, AT&T, or any SIM card using MVNOs into it and be up and running in the time it takes to turn on the phone. It’s also going to get Android updates for at least another year. Being a Nexus you’re perfectly fine when it comes to unlocking the bootloader, it’s a simple ADB command and then the sky is the limit insofar as what kind of fun you can have with things at that point.

If anyone has any questions about the Nexus 6 just let me know and I’ll answer them as best I can. Meanwhile I’ll be here at my desk reading and trying to make it through the day. Been sick as a dog since early last night and I feel like crap.
