If you are a night owl, as I'm discovering many of you are, then you may have watched former President Carter on Charlie Rose the other night. The interview was captivating. During the interview, he said that when he wants to talk to world leaders in private, he sends an actual letter. He admits the NSA monitors his calls. Your calls. My calls. Everyone's calls. Now then, we know the NSA spies. Thats what they do. But to record EVERY call made! Not to mention the oodles of hard drive space to store it all. I dont know myself, but a guess would be 5 billion calls per day? That must take some super duper compute power to analyse it all.
Any ideas how all this is done?
