(I tried to come up with a better title, but the headline from the original source says it all.)
Anyway, some guy in Indiana was hard up for cash so he decided to break into a lab and steal jars of human brain tissue — samples taken from former mental hospital patients, no less. The thief listed them on eBay, someone bid on them, and then the bidder realized something fishy was going on, so he contacted the police. The police eventually set up a sting and got the organ thief.
There are so many questions here, but mostly a.) how does one arrive at the conclusion that selling jars of human organ tissue is the best way to make money, b.) who buys human brain samples on eBay, and c.) what does that eBay listing even look like?
I've already spent too much time thinking about this today. I'm going to go find some brain bleach (heh).
