Here we are True Believers at the end of this season (series?). We’ve had death and resurrection, deception and loyalty, and a giant teleporting dog (soon to be a star of his own Inhuman comic)!

There was so much potential for this to be a good series, limited or otherwise, that I am kinda disappointed that they didn’t do a better job fleshing out these characters before they separated them on their little Hawaiian adventure(s). Three hours to setup everyone’s motivations and power sets and the sudden, but eventual betrayal, three hours getting back together (with a few time jumps) and interacting with the Earth-side humans, and two hours back in Attilan would have made this a much better series. I’m sure there will be even more articles written about how Marvel has lost it’s “mojo” and that the series should never have been made once this finale is in the books.

I can say that they did a pretty decent job on Lockjaw (for a TV series budget) and did a good job on showcasing Karnak’s ability. Everyone else, is just so unlikable. The Royal Family didn’t do anything that would make me root for them to succeed. “Mad” Maximus’ (while his stated intentions were good) eventual heel turn made it where I knew I couldn’t root for him because he was going to turn power mad and try to kill everyone. Kinda hard to root for someone you know to be a homicidal maniac.

Here it is...the preview.

And Finally: Black Bolt... The final showdown between Black Bolt and Maximus takes an unexpected turn.
