Perhaps many of you already know of the artist named Ayo. She was born in Germany to a Nigerian father and a Roma gypsy mother and had a very hard life growing up which included her mother being a heroine addict and jailed.
She was encouraged by her father to pursue her musical talents and wow I'm glad she did. This morning BBC did a special on her story and not only is it worth listening but her overall positive outlook on life and emotion she pours into her music is remarkable.
Described as indie-folk, she incorporates many different styles in to each song and makes them all really fun to to listen to and catchy!
This song is called Justice off of Ayo's latest studio album called "A Ticket to the World" which was inspired by her trying to buy a ticket for her ailing aunt to Paris.
