I'm watching Gotham, a show I'm starting to enjoy much more than I was 9 weeks ago. Looks like this will be the last live blog in a while, so let's make the most of it.

  • Cool establishing shot of Stately Wayne Manor.
  • If this chick is not Lady Shiva, I'll eat my hat.
  • Why is she rubbing blood on her face? That's a sure-fire way to get HIV, Ebola, and caught by the Po-Po.
  • Practicing balance beam on the banister with socks is supremely stupid, Bruce-chan. Either go barefoot or with rubber soled shoes. That is the first rule of the sea.
  • Oh, that's why she has the blood. She's pulling a page from the Idris Elba book of home invasion.
  • Alfred's kicking so much ass. More, please.
  • At last we see that Wayne Manor has more than one room and some hallways, too.
  • Catgirl totes peaces out but Alfred is a bad-ass with that gun despite getting winged. Great squib work, FX guys.
  • The assassins were after Selina?
  • I love this whole yelling match between Gordon, Bullock, and Pennyworth.
  • Damn right you're the butler, mate.
  • Selina & Bruce-chan go on an orphan road trip.
  • Yay, Penguin!
  • This conversation between Ozzie and Falcone is boring.
  • I think I finally figured out why Penguin's voice is familiar. He sounds like Olaf from Frozen.
  • Harvey's eyes are too crazy. Harvey, no!
  • That's an old $100 bill, Alfred. Did you take that out of your mattress?
  • Bullock: "Save your cheese, Alfred. I can beat the truth out of this kid with a roll of quarters." He gets all the zingers.
  • Mooney's earrings are Art Deco-inspired today. Nice, but they don't match the outfit, which looks like Cutey Honey crossed with a chicken.
  • D'oh! Bruce doesn't carry coins, so he can't call Alfred. (-__-)
  • Selina tries to peace out for the second time. She'll be back.
  • Selina just called Bruce-chan "B". I used to call my cousin that, like, 10 years ago.
  • Bruce-chan is totes going to fail at jumping that rooftop. Darn, he didn't.
  • Lol, Selina just took Bruce-chan to the Foot Clan's teenage delinquent base from TMNT: The Movie.
  • Alfred's going to cut a bitch.
  • He can also melt Mooney's ice-cold heart. Is there nothing Alfred can't do?
  • Omg, Poison Ivy is at the street kid hangout quite by chance. She's still named Ivy and she's horrible. And insane. Even Selina doesn't want anything to do with her.
  • Who is this guy Gordon's talking to again?
  • Why is Lady Shiva (?) fighting with crazy stiletto heels on? It looks both dumb and awkward.
  • Commercial Break!

  • Who is this Clyde and why does he talk like a Looney Toon? "Mah Baybee!" His face is weird, too. Like a gag character in a Garth Ennis comic.
  • I must admit, Bruce-chan and Selina make a good team.
  • Now Clyde looks a bit like if Dean Cain gained a couple hundo and got his face smashed in an accident.
  • I am completely not worried that Bruce-chan and Selina will be able to escape before Lady Shiva gets there.
  • I really hope it is Lady Shiva. They have yet to say her name.
  • And this is why Bruce-chan will spend a lifetime smashing through skylights - because one wouldn't open when he really needed it.
  • That was some awfully quick climbing, Lady. I think something got cut from this scene.
  • Aw, Alfred. I love you, too.
  • Mayor Spin City is wearing a drab plaid suit with polka dot tie. Hannibal would not approve.
  • He's trying to be intimidating, but I know of your secret origins as Paulie, Michael J. Fox's incompetent sidekick.
  • And Harvey sides with him. Harvey, no!
  • Did Gordon just get fired? Why? I mean, why this time and not the last time he crossed the mayor or the time before that?
  • What the hell is up with that chick's hair? I don't think Scene fashion ever caught on with the mainstream and much less with poli-sci majors.
  • Nygmaaaaa!!!!!!
  • Gross Edward, don't touch Gordon.
  • Selina's back! Wow, I didn't think I'd ever be happy to see her.
  • Next time on Gotham: The show returns in January with a premise change, Fish Mooney has Op Art earrings, someone gets pimp-slapped over a table, and there is now a giant green question mark in the show's title card cityscape.
