After Revolution returned on March 25th, Charlie Jane declared:

So it seems highly likely that the "world without electricity" portion of this show is over. And we're moving on to the "weapons escalation" portion of the show instead.

It seems that providing evidence of this, there's no longer a show opening.

We lived in an electric world. We relied on it for everything. And then the power went out. Everything stopped working. We weren't prepared. Fear and confusion lead to panic. The lucky ones made it out of the cities. The government collapsed. Militias took over, controlling the food supply and stockpiling weapons. We still don't know why the power went out, but we're hopeful that someone will come and light the way.

In a reply to one of those "I don't like Charlie" comments, somewhere back where I haven't been able to quickly find, I suggested that "Charlie" was the one who was supposed to "light the way". Therefore, it'd be understandable for her to be at the center of the show and that a lot of the storylines would focus on her growth.

This appears to no longer be the case.

In addition to dropping the opening, I'd say it's also been underlined by some of the interviews Alasdair has linked over the past couple of months. Instead of focusing on a messiah, it appears they're going to try and live up to the "Revolution" name.
