During my annual Farscape rewatch I was struck by the fact that although I had seen these episodes at least a dozen times already I still felt the same wonder and emotion as if I was watching it for the first time.
While the effects sometimes leave things to be desired I am constantly amazed by how great the practical effects are. The aliens actually look like aliens thanks to the amazing work of The Jim Henson Company. When Pilot shows emotion like awe or sadness I feel so much giddy delight. Though I know how the crazy plots are going to play out they still are so much fun to watch ("Crackers Don't Matter" is one of the wackiest episodes of television ever). Watching these characters grow again I always find little things I didn't notice before that make it worthwhile again.
And most importantly I still get all the feels when the show demands it. Character deaths I knew were coming or just plain depressing emotional episodes still hit me. I'm currently on season three (aptly nicknamed the season of death) and while I know how dark its going to get I cannot wait to experience it all again.
So what are your go to shows that you can relive over and over like it was new?
