This month we’re trying to decide which fictional spaceship is the coolest of all time. We’re down to 32 contenders after the first round. And it’s time to whittle that number down further. Which spaceship will survive to make it to the Sweet 16?

What a first round that was. The first half of round 1 saw the higher seeds trouncing the lower seeds nearly 100%. But on Wednesday we saw several upsets. In Region 2 we saw the White Star, Hermes, and Sovereign triumph, and in Region 4 the upset victories belonged to the Arcadia, Thunder Fighter, and Colonial Viper. Slave 1 nearly upset the Eagle Transport, but fell short of that goal by a single vote!

Click to embiggen. It’s quite large.

This time we’re down to 32 contenders. Will any of the number 1 seeds fall this time? Who will the upsets be? It’s time to vote and find out.
