This is a genet, a little fella from Africa related to the civet and mongoose.

This is an African Cape buffalo.

This is a genet riding on top of a buffalo in Africa.

This is the same genet riding on top of another buffalo.

This crafty little guy was caught hitchhiking by a camera trap in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, South Africa. It isn't yet known if this is somehow symbiotic, mutually beneficial behavior, or if this is a singular abnormality, the one genet who can ride a buffalo like a boss. But the first buffalo did shake the genet off.

There's more at the park's website where they published the camera trap photos.
