When I first saw trailers for Watch_Dogs, I did honestly think that we were dealing with a case of "technological magic", where the technology shown, while maybe based in things thought to be possible soon, was more sci-fi than not.

Using real life examples, Game Theory's MatPat explains how the world of Watch Dogs isn't actually all that different from ours. Except for hooking up everything in the world to just one system. That's just stupid.

As much as I love new technology and all the wonderful things it can bring, the world of the future is certainly looking scarier and scarier.
