Anti-Christ on a bike! Harvey Spencer Stephens, best known as The Omen’s moody little harbinger of the apocalypse, was given a suspended prison sentence on Friday the 13th.

No hockey masks involved but he did damaged a cycling helmet when he lashed out at two cyclists in August last year. Stephens pleaded guilty to two counts of ABH (actual bodily harm) and one of criminal damage after the incident at Toys Hill, Westerham, Kent (a hot bed of devilry if ever there was one. I got stuck at the local station once which was swarming with flies).

Stephens starred as devil-child Damien Thorn in 1976 movie The Omen but has since gone on to become a futures trader.

Judge Martin Joy sentenced him to 12 months in jail, suspended for two years, for the ABH charge and a further two months for the criminal damage, also suspended. Stephens also will have to complete a rehabilitation course along with 150 hours of unpaid work as well as paying £1,000 compensation to each victim and £120 for the damaged helmet.
