Welcome back to the Friday Open Thread, where conformity is key and all individualism is destroyed.
This week I’ve largely been getting uni work into place for my dissertation/project, which is the exciting task of looking at how games create and store levels. Outside of that I’ve seen that once again I’ve been proven wrong on Marvel films, with people really liking Doctor Strange despite the issues of casting, and most recently of the last couple of days I’ve been enjoying the collective cry fest that is the Hard Brexit crowd after the courts agreed that Parliament (who are still largely pro-EU) have to agree to Brexit, with today’s papers having headlines Goebbels would be proud of.
Seriously ever since Corbyn got in charge of Labour this rhetorical idea of ‘The People’ has become more and more popular on both sides of the spectrum.
This weekend I’m most likely going to be continuing with organising Uni stuff (it’s almost deadlines for Semester A modules already and it’s only been a month) and maybe actually play some games for the first time this week. Also as usual I’ll be posting about Stargate SG-1 again as we finally reach the midpoint of the series as a whole.
So what are you lot planning to this weekend? Has your local media gone mad given your elections next week (seriously though good bloody luck)? Answer as always down below.
