So, after watching the Eddie Brock short film some posts below, I thought, "Why is there no anti-Avengers movie?"

Of course after thinking about it I realized it because the rights are so scattered, but here's my train of thought:

All Disney/Marvel have been doing is pretty fun, glossy movies. But, in the same city as the Avengers, you have other characters like The Punisher, Daredevil, Moon Knight, Iron Fist, etc, which don't quiiite fit in with the NYC that's established.

Thinking about it a bit more, and thinking about where those characters were established, I imagined something of a world where The Warriors, Frank Miller era Daredevil, and Shadowland meet. The motive and connection is all there. These are somewhat like-minded characters who aren't going to be the type of heroes to take on a villain with the scale of Loki, but someone that affects their city, their streets (and after the short film, I'm thinking someone from Spider-Man's rogue gallery, even if I don't see him as having existed yet in this world).

I don't exactly have a whole lot of thought put into this other than what I've put here, but if this sparks any thought from anyone, I'd like to hear it.
