Before, you know, Disney MURDERED IT. /notbitteroranything

Oh man, Kotaku dredged up another proverbial twist of the knife with Lucasart's shuttering - although we'd been told the characters that cropped up in 1313's preview footage weren't final designs, or even might not be the final protagonists... we now know they'd been replaced by a Rise of the Empire-era version of everyone's favourite Mandalorian, Boba Fett.

It's perhaps the final rubbing of salt in the wound for the 1313 project, as it's been in development hell since autumn of last year according to multiple sources - with the development team floundering with scrapped idea after scrapped idea. The entire team, along with the team working on Star Wars: Rebel Assault, were let go yesterday as Disney dissolved the development side of Lucasarts to reestablish them as a licensor.

But if you ask me... a gorgeous next gen spiritual successor to Star Wars: Bounty Hunter? I would've loved that. Lucasarts had been on a rocky record for quite a while now, but I was starting to think they might've been onto something with 1313.
