This weekend is IzumiCon here in Oklahoma City. With the con so close it got me thinking about the past year in terms of conventions I’ve been to, and I thought it might be a fun topic for a Talk It Out. So what cons have you gone to this year, and/or what cons do you plan on attending?
On Monday Adrian Swartout, owner and CEO of Gen Con, the tabletop gaming convention originally founded by Gary Gygax, sent a letter to Indiana Governor Mike Pence expressing that the convention's organizers and attendees were against the passage of SB 101. Swartout went as far as to threaten moving the convention if…
I'm heading out to San Diego on Monday. (Yes, early because I need some big girl vaca time.) I know there's some other Niners attending and that making get together plans is near impossible but its still fun to try!

Just booked my autograph sessions for the 50th Anniversary Convention. Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy.
UPDATE: Now with link to gallery.
Matt Smith, Tom Baker, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy are the confirmed guests so far, alongside a few panels and activities.

It's a BSG reunion - Bill Adama, Appolo, Starbuck, Six and Baltar.
I'm off to WonderCon, guys. I'm hoping it recaptures the San Diego Comic-Con memories of my youth.
