The back half of this season of Fear the Walking Dead hasn’t really inspired me to write about individual episodes but I’ll still do a write-up of Season 3.2 if for no other reason than it does set up some potential crossover points with the original show.
At this point I’m much more interested in the post-apocalyptic Western of Fear the Walking Dead than Rick’s struggle with Negan on The Walking Dead. This week’s midseason finale brings back a familiar face who plays an important role in the showdown over the Broke Jaw Ranch.
Jeremiah Otto is flawed but he does drop some quotable lines. This week’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead is about the reactions to the events of last week. We also learn that after TEOTWAWKI a lawyer can still be a dangerous adversary.
On this week’s Fear the Walking Dead we have two road trips. One is a return to a place I wasn’t expecting to see again and the other is a reminder that TEOTWAWKI is a good time to settle old scores. Also Nick, Luciana, and Alicia try to figure out their places in their new circumstances.
If you saw the end of last week’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead then you could probably guess what this week’s episode would be about. Someone has a chance at a new start and a new face is added to the cast.
The title of this week’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead “TEOTWAWKI” is short for “The end of the world as we know it.” The situation in Fear the Walking Dead (and of course The Walking Dead) certainly qualifies as an example. This week we get a better look at a group prepared for TEOTWAWKI.
I didn’t even realize the third season of Fear the Walking Dead was going to premiere last night until I noticed it while scrolling through my cable channel guide yesterday afternoon. Since I stuck with the show this far I went ahead and watched the double episode premiere.
A few weeks ago I posted about things not to do during an apocalypse. After this week’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead I need to add a few more items to the list (and follow up on an item from my first list). Get your hammers and blades ready because there are spoilers ahead.
This week’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead has many characters doing things that were not the best choices for the situations they were in (yeah, what a surprise). So here’s a reminder of what not to do during a zombie apocalypse (also applicable to other forms of apocalypse).
I don’t like how AMC started this whole trend where shows take a three to six month break right in the middle of their season, effectively making two season finales and two season openers. I feel cheated. I understand that it’s good for business and stretches their seasons out a little (like Agents of SHIELD is 22…
Science-Fiction as a TV genre has always been one to indulge in healthy debates and thought exercises on topics that effect all of us and our futures, whether it be the fundamental threat of advanced Artificial Intelligence in Person of Interest or looking at the sort of society we want to become in the various forms…
I live and grew up in Southern California, and over the years of watching disaster and zombie and apocalypse shows and movies, have always felt that my best bet would be to get to the water, and to the back end of Catalina Island, specifically. There’s a camp site back there, and although the island is small, it’s far…
While the zombie action ramped up some this week, there’s still so much stupid stuff I couldn’t limit myself to one nitpick. I’m now afraid that even if this show improves in the last two episodes I’m so in the groove of ripping on it I won’t be able to notice. Spoilers incoming.
This show makes me want to order a bunch of test tubes and shit from Amazon, invent the zombie virus, infect myself with it, become a zombie, jump through the TV screen and bite every one of those boring-ass characters to make them zombies and liven this shit up. Spoilers, I guess.
That question came to mind early on when I was watching Fear The Walking Dead. It underlies much of the first episode for the viewer who knows where things are going. But put yourself in the head of someone in the show’s world. When do you realize that some really freaky shit is happening?
