It’s that magical time of the year, everyone. The weather gets colder, the sun is setting earlier, the soft whispers for pumpkin spice latte and eggnog fill the air. That magical time where we hole ourselves in a room for the month of November, trying to will the words to come while surviving off of coffee and hissing…
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) starts this week. Some people may have the desire to join in, but lack ideas as to what to write. So I am, once again, presenting Trilobyte Studios: A source of open-source entertainment—write all the stories you want without worrying about letters from corporate lawyers.
Just doing this post to check up on everyone and their progress into projects this month.
NinerWriMo is around the corner, my fellow sentient beings. Just do a final roll call to see who all is doing it this year. Also, feel free to discuss whatever you’re working on or whatever problems/thoughts you’re having on over on ThursdayTales or even on twitter if you’d like.
It’s that dreaded time of year again, people. Not the election or the holiday season but NaNoWriMo/ NinerWriMo. For those who don’t know, November is the National Novel Writing Month, where many saps (myself included) try to write a 50 thousand word novel in 30 days, or 1,667 words daily.
The end of this fine month of October beckons, pulling us closer to November, the month of madness. NaNoWriMo will be here soon, and to those who will stand with me in the Battle of First Draft, welcome and I salute you. It won’t be easy, and might even be nigh impossible, but if we can provide support and shore one…
Update: If you’re friends with Archnemesis Goldenhair on Twitter, she’s compiling a list of tweeps who are participating. The hashtag is, natch, #NinerWriMo. Also, smut is very much encouraged!
Hello, io9er!! Welcome to WednesdayBookClub. I'm not sure who's doing NaNo this year but instead of doing it, I'm transcribing the book I did last year. 51K+ words handwritten at 2am. *Shudder* I remembered that I was a pretty steady reader until NaNo last year which mean writing sucked up all of my reading energies.…
Well, yep, it's about that time of the year again and I wanted to take a few minutes to remind you about it.
My name is Geesejuggler, this was my first time doing it and I'm at word 51,051 of my novel!! I still have one scene to finish, the book is terrible but I'm a winner, dang it!!! *Confetti cannon*
Hello and welcome to today's WednesdayBookClub. This is Geesejuggler, your nerdy host and this is some cool book art!
I don't know why so many people need/appreciate projects with boundaries and goals to help them get creative juices to flow—maybe it's because we're use to quantified things in our practical life—work hours, tax deadlines, legal ages, number of questions on the test, etc. So structure helps us do something that's both…
Have yoy nanoed yet? Meeither. GJ is in her fort looking all smug with her writerness but I will write eventually. But before we do how bout a little creative challenge?
So I'm doing this as a rebel Nano because I'm special like that and need the extra motivation to finish up Cravings.
