Before Tuesday, nobody really knew what Pluto looked like. But since 1933, its (now former) status as “the ninth planet” merited its inclusion in countless depictions of the Solar System. Which means up until Tuesday, every time a TV show showed a picture of Pluto they were largely guessing.
With new casting announcements being made with the X-Men franchise, rumors of at least two new Marvel TV shows, and seemingly more by the day, some people are beginning to ask what’s going to be left to adapt? It’s a valid question, and it’s worth noting there is a lot of fertile ground left to mine!
Before event comics, 'Zero Issues' are sometimes necessary to bring new readers up to speed on the characters involved in the story to come. When it's done poorly, it looks like a cheap marketing ploy. When it's done well... you start feeling something for characters you've known about for ages but never cared about…
