Welcome my friends to this week’s edition of our cheap digital comics, after almost a month away! (Sorry.) Let’s just jump right into it, shall we?
Greetings all and happy Friday! I hope the day is going awesome for y’all! Let’s just jump right in.
The 1980s were full of animated series made both for the young and old. From classics like Transformers, Jem and the Real Ghostbusters. To the less known series like the Gummi Bears. But do these shows still hold if you weren’t alive in the 80s?
Machinima just announced that they have been given exclusive access to show the new Transformers series based on the Combiner Wars Toyline. Given their recent shows like the God and Monsters miniseries and Mortal Kombat Legacy. It really does seem like Machinima is pushing themselves to become a major part of the new…
I wonder what Michael Bay will make of this? Nothing good, I’m sure.
Am I the only one surprised by how many people are against Transformers being in a shared universe? After taking a long sigh and reflecting on how sad it was that I knew all this, I’ve decided to burst your bubbles (replacement bubbles on the way) because Transformers already takes place in a shared universe.
After years I decided to watch the 1986 Transformers movie, and for all that is holy is that thing dark.
I try not to use Observation Deck to self promote too much, instead preferring to write stand alone pieces I hope fellow O-Deckers will enjoy. But once in a while can't hurt, right? Especially if it is promoting something hopefully relevant to everyone's interests.
Hello! And welcome to my first article written as someone with permission to post to Observation Deck! I don't know if I shall do so often, but having gotten such permission I figured I should flex it a bit. At least the once! So, what shall I write about? Should be something I know... How about Transformers?
Digital distribution is the way of the future! But there is one area where downloaded or streamed content will never be able to compete with older formats. Shelf presence! As someone with something of a collector's mentality, this:
This is an Optimus Prime Transformer. It transforms into a pen. That's pretty much it, but goodness, what else do you need?
It's a caterpillar.
A gingerbread Optimus Prime.
Thank you Mr. Kokis for taking the time to answer some questions that were submitted by curious fans.
Okay, so it never actually happened, but I bet we all wish it had. Even though this event never actually occurred does not mean you can't enjoy having an action figure of TARDIS Prime. That is, as long as you own or have access to a 3-D printer.
Here in Oregon, a landscaper accidentally caused the largest single known bumblebee die-off, while trying to poison some aphids. 50,000 dead, plus potentially a few more elsewhere. The landscaper may or may not have broken the law at the same time, but we'll see.
So I'm posting some "rule of cool" art pieces to give me something less rage-inducing to look at.
