Holy shit. It's not science fiction - though you could argue it's a "five minutes in the future"-crime show set in a sort-of dystopia (Seattle) - but this third season has been beyond great. I don't know if anyone's watching, but you should; it's pretty much one of the best crime seasons out there now. It's dark, suspenseful, intense, mysterious, has a great handle and focus on its characters and is very much poetic at times, both in visuals, story and dialogue.

I haven't seen the first two seasons (dropped out halfway in season one - thought it was dull and ordinary) but I've heard they're bad. This third season though? This is not bad. Not at all. This is crime fiction at its very, very best.
