Logan & Adam’s irradiated astronaut in mid-transformation

This week’s Face Off has the teams each creating two separate designs based on science experiments gone wrong. It is an immunity challenge this week so no one is going home this time. Results ahead.

McKenzie Westmore meets the All-Stars at the lab which has been transformed into, well, a lab… a science lab! The challenge she introduces tasks each team with making two designs showing a science experiment that has gone wrong and caused someone to change into a monster - one showing the man in mid-transformation and a fully transformed creature.

This week famed director John Landis (An American Werewolf in London and Michael Jackson’s Thriller) shows up to be a guest judge.

Rachael & Gage (top) and Cig & George (bottom) are safely in the middle this week.

Keaghlan & Melissa (top) and Ben & Evan (bottom) are Bottom looks this week. Each team has been both a Top Look and a Bottom Look this season so their work has not been consistent.

Logan & Adam create a radiation exposure monster complete with an oversized arm to give it a retro monster movie look. The judges like it enough to make it a Top Look.

Emily & Tyler create an electric shock monster that wows the judges. Glenn calls it a “clean, beautiful make-up.” They win the challenge and immunity in next week’s elimination challenge. Emily and Tyler have come together as a team and since the second week they have been a Top Look each time with two wins. If they can maintain their consistency they have a good shot at winning the season.
