This week’s episode of Face Off brings the first team elimination as the All-Stars create characters that are both angel and devil. Which team was naughty and which one was nice? Results ahead.

McKenzie Westmore greets the contestants at a church in Pasadena to introduce this week’s challenge. Each team must incorporate their best and worst personal traits into an angel and devil that both represented on the same character.

Even though the contestants are veterans of the show there are distinct differences in quality in the creations this week.

Emily and Tyler snag a Top Look for their compassionate angel being tarnished with guilt. Day Two of the challenge is also Tyler’s birthday so he gets cupcakes and a card signed by all the other contestants.

Ben and Evan were a Bottom Look last week but bounce back. They don’t try to bite off more than they can chew and complete a design good enough to be a Top Look this week.

Cat and Niko (aka Team Love) go big with wings on their loyal bride being consumed by jealousy. The striking visual set it apart from the other designs and to me shows the theme of the challenge at a glance (which is why I chose it for the top image). The judges liked the design too so this week Team Love trumps all others for the winning look.

Logan and Adam put out a lackluster design and are a Bottom Look.

Stella and Jasmine have trouble nailing down a concept for their design which is always a bad way to start. This, along with other problems, earns the team a Bottom Look for two weeks in a row. It’s no surprise when they are the first All-Star team to be eliminated.
