Hello, everyone!! We are halfway through the calendar year so I wanted to see how your book reading goal is going? I'm currently at 30 out of my 52 book goal for this year (Which GoodReads tell me is 5 books ahead of schedule). How about you? If you're ahead of your goal, YAY!! If you're not, don't worry, you have plenty of time.

This week, I wasn't feel well (4 days back-to-back of feeling like I might vomit at random moments) so I didn't read that much. The Eyre Affair is this quippy and quirky book that snatches you up and does its worldbuilding as you go along and you find yourself reading every word so that you get every nuance of how strange this world is.

The Blue Sword, however, eases you into this world by using most of the first 100 pages for worldbuilding and tries not to overwhelm you with it and you read every words because every words transports into you into this world without you realizing it. It's been a long time since I've read this so I'm reading it slowly to make sure I get everything that I didn't get the first time around.

So what about you guys? How far you in your goals and what have you been reading
