I had a very nice Sazerac.


I made it with Templeton Rye, in honor of the Iowa Hawkeyes doing their best to beat the Michigan State Spartans for the Big 10 championship. (not really, I just like Templeton)


Then I had a Satisfaction Jacksin Double IPA from the wonderful folks at Ale Asylum just north of me in Madison Wisconsin.


It went very well with Dungeness Crab Enchiladas which are delicious, but require effort. Takes a while to pluck all that meat out of the damn crab, and you need 16 oz enchilada sauce, not 8. I used Rick Bayless’ green enchilada sauce and it was very tasty.
