... She's Jenna Coleman. Important.

The Radio Times are reporting that the actress will has dropped her double-barrelled name and will now be credited as simply Jenna Coleman, beginning with the 50th Anniversary special of Doctor Who, as well as her upcoming role in the P.D. James adaptation Death Comes to Pemberley. An insider for the magazine - because of course we have insiders for such a searing hot scoop as this - told RT:

There’s no big story behind it – it’s just what she’s called now. There's been no formal announcement. She was introduced to the Queen as that and Doctor Who credits will now read Jenna Coleman, as will Death Comes to Pemberley and all of the rest.

That’s just her, going forward...

The BBC couldn't confirm if the name change was to forever end her confused association with floppy-haired comedian Justin Lee Collins, who is also popularly known as JLC in abbreviation circles.

JLC is dead, long live... JC!
