December sees us heading in to the holiday season, which means many shows are ending or going on hiatus until the new year. However, there are still a few show premiering, including a German-set supernatural mystery, the long-awaited Knights Templar show, a Syfy series featuring a tiny blue alicorn, an orc cops movie,…
I never got the appeal of Sheena, Queen of The Jungle. The tv series was around same time that Xena was on and it was not even close in quality.
The Orville is damaged by a spatial anomaly causing harrowing effects to all living things. Not sure if we are talking specifically aboard the Orville or a more general imperilling of living things everywhere.
I believe we have surpassed the point in time where technology makes it necessary for us to have a system where people are “forced” to work.
I’m sitting here looking at my key ring and realizing that it’s bordering on janitorial. How many keys do you have on yours? What are they for? Do you have more than one key chain?
Eight days to go till Psych: the Movie premieres on the USA Network. Turn an eight on it’s side and it looks like the symbol for infinity (eternity) which is what it’s felt like, waiting for the premiere. But that’s not what we’re here to discuss. Today it’s all about the holes.
I enjoy Grace Randolph’s videos her explanations is quite good. I am not doubting her math it seems right but I do not understand the conclusion WB is making.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has too many characters. And some need to die (PERMANENTLY - *glares at Coulson*) to give Infinity War some stakes. I posted my list on Twitter.
This one looks like my cat Bruja. And the story is not too shaby. I’m also looking forward to Sword of Ages cuz it’s written and drawn by none other than Locke & Key’s Sir Gabriel Rodriguez, thank you very much. I’m really interested to see his skill at doing both.
Tom King’s broad strokes approach to the Dark Knight has been one of the best parts of his run on Batman. He adheres to the spirit if not the letter of the canon and has managed to finally bring Batman and Catwoman together in a realistic, satisfying way. The Annual is simply divine.
Hey, gang and welcome to WednesdayBookClub. My name is Geesejuggler and this week is my “vacation week” from work* and I’m spending it trying not to freak out, as one does. Seriously, I’m just going to post about this whole thing at the bottom of the post so we can get onto bookclub.
There are only nine days left till the premiere of Psych: the Movie. That’s still plenty of time to rewatch the series from the beginning... if you skimp on sleep and bathroom breaks. But, if watching all eight seasons feels like too much of a commitment, just pick your favorites and have a slumber party marathon,…
I *really* like the character of Kat Sandoval - played by Sara Ramirez - on the television show MADAM SECRETARY. The character rides a motorcycle. She’s into the kind of tech and science stuff I like to read about. She spent part of the latest episode trying to explain to the Secretary of State who Neal Stephenson is.…
It’s time for the second part, which is actually part 3 and 4 of the crossover. I know. I know. The Daily Planet doing a feature on Overgirl seems like it’s trying to normalize Interdimentional Nazis, but let’s just hear them out before. There’s ab argument to be made for objective journalism. Meanwhile, let’s react!
There are only 10 Days left till Psych: the Movie premieres on December 7th. To celebrate, here is my top 10 list of Psyche episodes... in no particular order.
Maybe I am an oldster but is it really safe for a 14 year old to create videos on youtube? I remember about ten years ago a debate for the local paper if they should publish names of honor roll students, the decision was to let parents opt out.
If I had a nightmare after staying awake for two days spent drinking and reading Tolkien it might be something like Ralph Bakshi’s 1978 Lord of the Rings. I have a lot of respect for Bakshi and there are a lot of good ideas in this movie. It is often effectively frightening but it comes nowhere near being all the…
It seems thanks to Trump and the FCC Comcast will institute fast lanes once Net Neutrality is finished.
