Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

Okay, so someone at DC finally realized the importance of satire and made Batman '66 a thing.

For those of you not in the know, Batman '66 is a monthly Batman comic based in the campy universe of the 1966 Adam West TV show, with subtle nods to current comic continuity. As a comic, it is hilarious and brilliant... but it gives me a better idea.

60s Spiderman. For those of you not up on your memes, there was an old cartoon in the 60s, 'Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends', where he palled around with Iceman and Firestar. The Internet jumped on this thing a few years back and turned it into a never-ending series of amazing memes, the most famous of which is the old "X is doing Y, and I'm just sitting here masturbating" gag.

Dude. Take that: the character the Internet has made out of stills from the old cartoon, put some comedic writers behind it, and launch that into a monthly comic. Hell, it might be enough for me to even consider buying Spiderman comics again.

Until then, I'll just be over here...
