So hey, remember that Dubsmash War during San Diego Comic-Con between the casts of Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD? Well, it’s not over. Round 2 will begin September 2nd and this time...it’s
to the death for charity!
As explained in the hilarious video above, both teams (Team Agent Carter, featuring Hayley Atwell and James D’Arcy, and Team SHIELD, featuring Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennett) will present their dubsmashes and then The Fans will decide on who wins by donating to each team’s charity (Agent Carter’s is STOMP Out Bullying while SHIELD’s is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital). The voting website is here and it even includes a video of all the dubsmashes to date.
Those who vote/donate will be entered in a drawing, with the prizes including a trip to Hollywood, dinner with the two teams (if they are still talking to each other), and starring in a dubsmash of their own (presumably with one of the two teams, since anyone can do a dubsmash now anyway). The losing team will then have to do a dubsmash chosen and choreographed by the winning team and then donate $2,000 to the winning team’s charity.
So yeah. This is a thing that is awesome.
