BBC Radio 4 Celebrates Ursula K. Le Guin

There's something going on over at Radio 4 in the UK...

This month the station has a number of different programmes celebrating the life and works of Ursula K. Le Guin in her 85th year.

Already broadcast was an interview with Le Guin herself along with contributions from younger writers inspired by her work, and today saw the first part of a two part adaptation of The Left Hand of Darkness starring, among others, British genre favourite Toby Jones. This will be followed later in the month by a six part adaptation of the first three novels in the Earthsea Cycle.

Now, if I am correct the online recordings of these shows should be available regardless of what region you are in, they don't yet state how long they will be available for, but most shows remain on the service for about a month after first broadcast, so you've plenty of time to catch up!
