So a few years back, I mummified a chicken to enter into the Mad Science Faire at the Canadian National Steampunk Exhibition. A few months after the Con, we moved, and Henshepsut ended up in a random box. I looked for her on a couple of different occasions, but could never find her.

Today I was looking in a random box for no particular reason, and there she was. She's held up really well. She doesn't even smell.

Now some of you might be wondering how a mummified chicken qualifies as steampunk. Basically, there were periods during the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian periods when Egypt was very fashionable, and the rich would hold mummy unwrappings in their homes. So in keeping with this odd bit if historical fact, I did a mummy unwrapping with the mummified chicken.
