Hey kiddos, so I'm going to the bookstore for the first time in months. Relative is treating.
For the first time in my life I can't think of a single book I've been waiting for or want or anything. Usually this isn't an issue, since I peruse the aisles and just grab what seems interesting.
I was wondering if I could get some recommendations though. It goes without saying I'm into the same things as most of you.
I've got the latest Tom Clancy book, which was the only one I had been waiting on to get as far as "must own this" books go. I also picked up the latest Star Wars EU book this past week.
I'm thinking if the store has it I wouldn't mind owning a copy of Pulp by Charles Bukowski or Consider Phlebes by Iain M. Banks, beyond that I'm drawing a blank though.
So give me your suggestions and I'll pick at least two when I go to the store. (I'm reading at least half a dozen books across my laptop, smartphone and tablet. I can only handle so many books at a time, even for me.)
