Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

Cappuccino with a bus ride to go

Now that’s full-flavour behaviour, to borrow a phrase. Stout might be the traditional drink to accompany Oysters but London firm Bio-bean is touting a future where coffee grounds fuel the capital’s fleet of iconic red double-decker buses. Hopefully the caffeine-buzz buses will smell better than Bromley Council’s chip fat powered vans.

Bio-bean have developed a method to extract diesel from used coffee grounds and will be unveiling a bus fueled by this product later this month. They collect grounds from the likes of Costa Coffee and Caffe Nero to recycle into this diesel and products for wood burners.
