Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

Captain America: Civil War's Post-Credit Scene

This is pure and utter speculation. But wouldn’t it be cool?

The credits are over, the names have all gone. The black screen fades to a brick building. A prison. A man sits in a cell. Even in prison garb, he looks regal. Half of his face is burned, melted from some sort of incident.

Suddenly, the door to the cell opens. A man stands in the doorway.

“Helmut Zemo,” the man says, his voice dripping with condescension. “The thirteenth Baron Zemo, isn’t that right? A real Baron and look at you now.”

“Who the hell are you?” Zemo asks.

“Just a man with a problem,” the man says. He steps into the cell, revealing himself as General Thaddeus Ross. “A problem you’re going to help me with. A problem called the Avengers.”

“Ah,” Zemo says and smiles.

So does Ross as he says, “I’m here to talk to you about the Thunderbolts Initiative.”
