Q visits Picard (who plays no role, that we know of, yet) in present-day TNG, tells him of a universe-ending time paradox that Spock Prime causes following the events of Star Trek 2009, flashes away to JJ Trek timeline and Enterprise, does his Q thing with the crew, then the issue ends when Q flashes them to present-day DS9 (within JJ Trek timeline).

A very entertaining read, it's fun seeing Q interacting with JJ Trek, the art is clean, and the likeness of the actors is spot-on and consistent.

In part 2 (issue 36), JJ Trek Enterprise is attacked by the Jem'Hedar as they arrive at DS9, the crew is taken captive by Gul Dukat who informs them the Federation no longer exists because it surrendered to the Dominion long ago, the crew is split up based on their tunic colours, Kirk/Scotty/Uhura meet Benjamin Sisko who then escape with the help of Odo and the Defiant (as commanded by Keiko O'Brien!), issue ends with a final panel depicting Earth as ruled by the Klingon Empire.

The story moves very fast, so many story and character elements jammed in there, but still entertaining. Oh, and this happened (as predicted by io9'er ALURIN)
