After a long hiatus, hopefully we're back on track here. In this edition, I will inflict some of my favourite xmas videos/songs on you all.
I love dumb humour—I'm not too proud to admit it. But my dumb humour has to be smart, if you know what I mean. Jon Lajoie is a master at this. And yes, I'll probably get abuse for posting this video, but I don't care. =D
Lindsey Sterling makes an extremely convincing elf.
The Mediaeval Baebes make my absolute favourite xmas music to listen to during the holidays.
My second favourite xmas album, after the Baebes, is the fairly recent one from Annie Lennox. This lady's voice just gets better year by year. Also, this video is awesome.
Leave it to Peter and the rest of Type O to perfectly capture the melancholy of the holiday season. No vid for this one, just a fan-made series of pictures. Still, I love this song and listen to it every year.
Also no video for this one, but it cracks me up every time.
One of the most scathing carols ever written; bless Ian's heart.
I grew up listening to Bing—I had *such* a crush on him when I was a kid (I was an odd child). Nobody since has had a voice like his.
I will admit this song makes me laugh out loud. Smart dumb humour, remember? Trey Parker is one of the people I would like to hang out with.
And like I began this list, I'll end it again with Jon Lajoie (NSFW for f-bomb and probably content). Merry Christmas, everybody!
