This is a link to an article I read a while back about each actor to play the Doctor.
Each Doctor is described, in almost every case by someone who actually wrote scripts for them or worked with them personally. It is such a wonderful insight into each of them, and I have read this multiple times, so I'd like to share it here.
I haven't watched every Doctor, but even the less popular ones seem to have contributed something to the character that may not have been apparent in their time. It is only a paragraph each, so a quick read. I thought of this in response to Burke's earlier post about Colin Baker. I haven't had a chance to see any of his work, but this article changed my preconceptions of what they might be like.
