... and I still dont know how I've missed it for 3 eps - my Hulu should've flagged it. Only found out when I was checking for old anime series on torrent sites.
Anyways, Sherlock (brilliantly played by Jonny Lee Miller, who acts the hell out of the whole thing with his whole body; see him walk into the station, the way he cocks his head after reading his lines... ) is back in New York after leaving for London without so much of a good bye to his associates in the NYPD and his partner, Watson.
The rest of the season, I suppose, would be the unravelling of how their partnership suffers or mends, since Holmes brought along a new protege, Kitty, who is played by Ophelia Lovibond (Gawd, the English and their names!) who played Carina in GotG. Now, another scifi connection is, in episode two, one of the suspect is played by the Google dude from Revolution, the TV series.
I seem to be enjoying this interpretation of Sherlock instead of the BBC one. Maybe because the characters are so much interesting and layered? Granted, i am more Team Joni than Team Benedict. Wondering if Io9 people watch Elementary too... ;)
