This week's challenge on Face Off is inspired by movies that feature games to the death like The Running Man (I haven't seen any of the Hunger Games movies). The contestants are paired up randomly and tasked to make a predator combining the features of a plant and an animal. Spoilers ahead.

This week we get a better idea of what the coaches do. They advise like Michael Westmore but also are allowed to do a little bit of hands-on work. Not anything major but since time is generally the most critical resource every bit of help makes a difference.

This week's guest judge admits he binge watches the show and is a big fan of Ve.

Emily and Regina thought they would be a bottom look but their design (top image) is one of the top looks.

The other top look belongs to Ben and Darla. Their cactus/ram hybrid is judged the best and Ben wins the challenge. Since Ben promised himself that if he ever won a Spotlight Challenge he'd propose to his girlfriend he does just that. Stay tuned to find out if she accepts.

The paint job and poorly realized venom sacs put the design of Alan and Stephanie at the bottom. Alan is eliminated and Team Anthony is down to four contestants.
