Paleontologists have discovered the fossilized remains of previously unknown winged and feathered dinosaur, which they say was flightless (just in time for Flightless Friday!) and rather large. Why wings, if flightless? Which came first, wings, or flight? Anyone know?

They say it would have looked much like a modern bird.

ETA; sorry crashed; I couldn’t edit the previous iteration to include text before the link, so I had to delete it. A double no-no. *hangs head*.
