Free Seventies Doctor Who Comic

While I have free gifts on my mind, renowned comic artist Lew Stringer has just added an item to his blog about the February issue of Doctor Who Magazine. Out tomorrow, the 508th issue of Panini’s Time Lord monthly celebrates the super Seventies with a free comic featuring Jon Pertwee’s version of The Doctor as he clashes with the Daleks.

Drawn by Gerry Haylock the strip titled Sub-Zero, originally appeared in 1972 issues of Polystyle Publication’s Countdown (which had the distinction of being the first British comic to sport a purely decimal price. Somebody should take a photo of Carole Ann Ford reading a copy).

Don’t put the plastic bag on your head.
