I noticed this just now but there are a rather surprising number of Daredevil collections currently on sale in the Play Store.

In no particular order they are as follows. (Links first then screenshots so you see what you’re getting.)

Daredevil: Born Again ($4.99 from $14.99)

Daredevil by Mark Waid Vol.1 ($4.99 from $10.99)

Daredevil by Frank Miller &Klaus Janson Vol. 1: Volume 1 ($4.99 from $24.99)

Daredevil by Bendis and Maleev Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 ($4.99 from $29.99)

And last but not least...

Daredevil: Guardian Devil ($4.99 from $14.99)

On top of that there was one more item of interest listed in the promos where I discovered all this that was of worthy note.

Age of Ultron: The Complete Event ($23.99 from $59.99)

Of course you could just get Age of Ultron: Volume 1 ($9.99 from $23.99) if all you want is Avengers #12.1 and Age of Ultron #1 - 10 and not all the rest of that.

I’m reasonably sure this promo wasn’t taking place last week, since I’d likely have spotted it then, and happened either yesterday or early this morning. Regardless, it’s a helluva promo on pretty much all of those items. (The three that go for over $20+ being especially great deals and worth buying soon because of their savings.)

Also, holy shit was Daredevil a great show on Netflix. I binged it between the Friday it debuted and the Monday after (killing the last few episodes at my desk while I had nothing to do). I’ve even gotten my mom to start it this past week. And she in turn has gotten most of her coworkers to check it out, along with quite a few relatives of ours. The question I keep getting asked about the show by people who weren’t aware of its existence until after it spread from me saying “check this show out” is “How many seasons are there?” Which is followed by immediate disappointment when I explain the show only has one so far.

Now the wait for Jessica Jones begins! Which I look forward to, not the least reason of which is Krysten Ritter is an amazing actress. (Although I still think James Van Der Beek was the true scene stealer in Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23.)
