I was having a discussion elsewhere on io9 about the inherent problems between the way time travel was presented in the first two Terminator films. This fantastic Vsauce video details some of the different kind of paradoxes that can arise in time travel stories.

Basically, the point I was making was that the first Terminator is a great example of both a closed, bootstrap-type paradox, as well as a grandfather paradox, wheras T2 allowed the Connors to prevent judgment day altogether, which would ultimately remove John Connor from existence.

The question remains, however, of what effects time travel has on synthetic male anatomy. The world may never know.
