So...TVwise, whose wins? In the legions of mummy hands, murderous angels, bank robberies, public sex, interstellar golf—who did the Groundhog Day episode best? Worst? Most poignantly?

And what's the appeal? Do we really crave the opportunities for do overs so badly that it makes it into so many fantasy/sci fi shows, given a shot? That we have to live vicariously through these characters that get to practice and right their wrongs?
