Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

Here's the official Internet Explorer Animé you've always wanted

Wait, WHAT.

Meet Inori Aizawa, Microsoft's new mascot for Internet Explorer based on the popular Japanese internet phenomenon that is OS-Tan. Inori, with her Windows-themed outfit, has been revealed ahead of a début event held by Microsoft at the Animé Festival Asia 2013, taking place in Singapore this upcoming weekend. Here's Inori-tan herself with an introduction from her new Facebook page:

Hey everyone! My name is Inori and you can think of me as a personification of Internet Explorer.

When I was younger, I used to be a clumsy, slow and awkward girl.

However, just like the story of ugly duckling, people told me that I have really matured and changed over the years. I feel confident in my abilities now, and I'm eager to show you what I can do.

Why don't you get to know me a little better?

And why yes, you can get to know her a little better, by downloading the new, Inori-themed version of IE 11 from Microsoft's dedicated Facebook page for the mascot when it eventually goes live. For now, users running IE9 or above can go to the Internet Explorer Tan website and set it as their own homepage to 'start enjoying the Inori Experience early'.

We live in bizarre times, everyone.
