I know that everybody is not a fan of the Red Sox or baseball and I promise this will be the last thing I post about the World Series. This is what happened during the parade in Boston today.

A simple tribute to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing last April, but powerful just the same. With what happened at LAX yesterday and the seemingly endless wave of violence, sometimes it is easy to believe that there is nothing but bad in the world. How we respond to these tragedies is what defines us as human beings. Together we can keep the darkness out.

Edit: The picture is of the World Series trophy at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. That is a Red Sox jersey on top of it that the team hung in the dugout during every game this season. 617 is the area code for Boston. The parade stopped at the finish line and the players and crowd sang God Bless America.
